I am excited. I am excited about the following 20 things:
1. Leaving for Romania, with my baby & my backpack, on Friday morning.
2. Seeing Dan, for the first time in 6 years Friday evening.
3. Meeting Dan's fiancee, for the first time ever.
4. Seeing Martin, for the first time in 1 year, Friday night.
5. Meeting Martin's girlfriend of 3 years for the first time EVER, witnessing that she really does exist.
6. Spending 5 days on the piss, without a care in the world, drinking all that Romanian sparkling wine/champagne-esque stuff.
7. Getting over the jitters about meeting Martin's girlfriend for the first time EVER, confirming that it's all good.
8. Experiencing the Romanian Orthodox marriage of one of my most dearest friends in the world (in a new country)
9. Hanging out with the 3 of us (me+M+D) for the first time since our South Africa days.
10. Having 5 days off work.
11. Going to Holland 3 weeks later.
12. Being re-united with one of my other dearest friends from Australia, Bron, for the first time in 4 years.
13. Spending 2 days on the piss with Bron in NL.
14. Witnessing Bron experience NL for the first time.
15. Catching up on all the goss from Aus.
16. Watching NL kick Ivory Coast's ass in the World Cup, with our friends, IN NL.
17. Hanging out in Den Hague with all Hannes's friends in a big mob, for the first time since our wedding.
18. Getting to see Martin AGAIN in Amsterdam.
19. Getting to hang out with Jéan who is ALSO coming to Amsterdam that weekend, AND Martin at the same time, for the first time since our South Africa days.
20. Going on the piss in general - another 5 days off work.
