WE GOT OUR RESIDENCE/WORKING PERMITS FOR BOTSWANA!!!
To give an idea of what a huge deal this is:
- yes we've owned this company for over a year
- yes we've been working in it and investing money into it and running it successfully for over a year
- yes we have staff working for us and jobs out the wazoo and a company car etc etc etc
- yes we moved halfway across the world for this
- yes we've been living and working in BW for over 3 months now WITHOUT a residence/work permit
- yes everything everything everything and so on and so on....
AND yes it could've all been yanked out from under us if the government had said no to our residence application!!! All of it!!! all million billion trillion miles of serious S*&%!
I suppose the ultimate question is... are we crazy, irresponsible and totally nuts?
YES!!
(this, combined with the fact that we FINALLY successfully got renters into our house in Ireland, I would say DEFINITELY calls for a cold cider when we get home this evening!)
