Day 9: basically the 1/2 way point.

This will be brief. Like, this would be the kind of day where if it weren't for THE BET, I would just ignore the bloggy bloggerton in favour of just sitting in my chair staring out the window and getting ripped into emotional shreds by Bob Dylan. Emotional. Shreds. ~sigh~
The only thing I can think to blog about yesterday's list is that I'm liking MGMT (the band). Exploration was done, songs were downloaded. And happiness abounds. Oh yes, and the Brandon was gtalked, except that the retard-o-modem sucks arse and connection was patchy at times, but it was nice, b/c I miss my buddy.
The bonus of last night was that Sweet Dick Pete was online so I got to chat with him too. it was Tzipi!
So today, here's what we've got:
* Keep trying to get onto the UP email
* ABB CD
* Get food for Animal Peeps mtg.
* Pack for tomorrow
* Don't forget to do this stuff tomorrow morning, before leaving.
I'm looking forward to the (as we like to call it) dirty weekend away with the Mr. I just hope and pray there's no chirren there, as this particular lodge does allow the chirren.
Oh yeah, my new semester has started and I'm not impressed with this whole having to start reading technical crap every night til June again. BARF! I'm thinking that this weekend, though, I might just bring a nice fiction book along and read it anyway (I finished the Omnivore's Dilemma - highly recommended).
Back to getting my soul ripped to fibres of heartbreak....
